Margaret Harronton
Margaret Harronton is the main antagonist in Kay’s life at the outset of each book in the Nymphas’ World series.
A classmate at school, Margaret is both pretty and intelligent, with long, straight, light-brown hair and piercing blue eyes. She dresses with calculated flair—trendy clothes and high boots that announce her confidence—and carries herself with an air of superiority. Beneath that polished exterior, however, lies cruelty. Margaret torments Kay relentlessly: she calls her names, threatens her, shoves her when the teacher’s not looking, and—most mercilessly—ensures that no one else at school dares speak to her.
Through constant ridicule and isolation, Margaret chips away at Kay’s spirit, leaving her increasingly withdrawn and uncertain. Her malice seems to run in the family; her older brother is equally vicious, delighting in the suffering of others.
Yet the balance of power shifts when Margaret pushes Kay too far. On that day, the tormentor finds herself facing an unexpected and unsettling reckoning.
